Made specifically for the AV Series Scopes, the Rheostat cover allows you to adjust brightness of the fiber optic by manually moving the cover around the outside of the scope housing. 

It eliminates the starburst of pins that are too bright, and it is a great asset in ground blinds and other lower light situations. The Rheostat cover must be used in conjunction with the same size AV Series Torque Indicator Retainer Ring.
